By virtue of the substratification sampling system aided by the International Atomic Energy Institutions, the substratification and underground level was measured on the hydraulic strata of Cretaceous with 1000 meter thick with a series of important data. And such breakthroughs were made on the hydrological 3-D structure model of the Erdos basin and the formational mechanism of the underground water. In cooperation with the Shannxi provincial government, we carried out “ the Underground Water Exploration of the North Shannxi Energy-Chemical Engineering Base in Erdos Basin ” , which has provided scientific evidences to safeguard the water resources supply, reasonable planning, development and utilization of the underground water resources of the large-scale energy-chemical engineering base.
