The production of natural gas hydrates will be the successive energy sources for conventional oil-gas production, which has a wide application prospect in the future. This paper based on the reference investigation, comprehensively describes the formation condition and reservoir state of natural gas hydrates, the thermodynamics and kinetics behavior of natural gas hydrates, carrys out a calculation and result analysis of two sorts of geological models using decomposition and thermal models, provides a theory criterion for the production of natural gas hydrates.
