To be responsible for the deployment and implementation organization of geo-science and technology, work out the plans and annual plan proposals of geo-science and technology and international cooperation, and carry out international cooperation and exchange; Organizing the research, development and generalization of the new technology, new methodology and new expertise; Making the regulations for geo-science and technology and foreign affairs administration; Responsible for the business construction of geological investigation and geo-science and technology for the subordinate units; Conducting the administration of geo-science and technology results, information, periodicals, geo-science popularization and foreign affairs.
